Developed multimedia lesson plan on fashion, music, and race for the South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA) curriculum, aiding educators using SAADA’s collection in their classroom
Edited academic manuscripts on music videos, Hindi horror films, social media, labor movements, surveillance technologies, and reality television.
Contributed multiple entries on connections between Black and Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) histories, fashion, and popular culture to SAADA’s Our Stories: An Introduction to South Asian American America, the first general history textbook on South Asian American history aimed at teenagers and adults

Designed original cultural studies courses such as Television and Social Change, Global Cinema, Teen Television, and Gender, Race, Class and Television.

Conducted grant-funded research on BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) artists in Cold War media: annotated videos and films of public access, dramas, and variety specials from digital collections and on-site archives.

Primary lead on report recommending UX optimization to key stakeholders: spearheaded grant-funded research observing how multidisciplinary scholars navigated various digital media platforms and analog technologies to improve open-source software options.

Taught and designed a 20-person seminar on Asian American history, fashion, and popular media. Developed multimedia assignments, where students supplemented essays with mood boards and collages using Adobe Photoshop, Pinterest, Tumblr, and other design software.

Co-founded the Department of Radio/TV/Filmâ€™s Graduate Student Conference, responsible for writing the initial proposal, securing funds; composing and circulating announcements; creating and updating the conference website; building networks of junior and senior scholars to invite to campus, and organizing schedule and panels.
Supported various Northwestern faculty with research for academic publications, including fact-checking, copyediting, compiling dossiers of resources, and indexing bibliographies and filmographies for projects on US housing in the 20th century, late ‘60s counterculture, Black Arts, and L.A. Rebellion movements.
